Coona to host Foodies Night Markets
Treat your tastebuds to a feast...
Coonabarabran’s number one oval will be transformed into a buzzing marketplace on Wednesday, 10 February, as the travelling Foodies Night Markets land in town.
The event has been working its way across the state, bringing good food to regional areas.
Foodies Night Markets coordinator, Anna Demasi, said it was a fun, tasty night out.
“We love the regional areas and we want to give these communities something a little different,” Ms Demasi said.
“We’re also putting the call out to local market stall holders and producers to be a part of the evening.
“There will be no charge for local stall holders to join in.”
Ms Demasi said anyone interested in hosting a stall should contact the Foodies Night Market page on Facebook.
With burgers, woodfire pizzas and deserts on the menu, the markets will also feature vegan and vegetarian options.
“Entry is just $2 per person over the age of 12, with donations going to Rural Aid,” Ms Demasi said.
“It is a completely COVID-safe event, with designated entry and exit points, QR sign in through the Service NSW app, sanitising stations and a COVID marshall on duty.
“There will be three inflatable slides for the kids and music, so bring your own blanket or picnic chair and enjoy the Foodies Night Market.
The Foodies Night Markets will be held at Coonabarabran’s number one oval from 4pm to 8pm this Wednesday.
