Last Saturday, local golfers Matt Edwards and Brad Weatherall successfully completed the Cancer Council’s annual fund-raiser, The Longest Day, completing 72 holes of golf in one day.

After teeing off at 6.30am, the duo were greeted with their own cheer squad on the final hole around 4pm.

The duo completed four rounds of golf well under their anticipated timeline of 12 hours.

Both Matt and Brad were thrilled with the support they received on the day, and in the process have raised more than $3000 for the Cancer Council.
