Coonabarabran golfer, Jane McWhirter, joined forces with Michelle Johnston, from Gunnedah, to compete in the Ladies Team Challenge, held at the stunning Bonville Golf Resort, Coffs Harbour, last weekend.

After playing together for 47 years. the duo finally “got it together”, recording one of the best scores in the event - 2 under par in the Ambrose on Saturday and 50 points on Sunday.

With both golfers already on low handicaps this result was no mean feat, particularly on a world-class golf course.

Jane said it was an exciting weekend of golf.
