The Coonabarabran Golf Club held its annual presentation night on Friday evening, 24 November, where winners of various competitions played throughout the year received their awards.

Players and guests came together to congratulate the award recipients and enjoy a night of good food and good company.

“We had a lot of trophies on offer and we thank the sponsors that make these events playable,” said club secretary, Zoe Holcombe.

2023 major winners

Club Champions – Frank Nottle and Zoe Holcombe. A-Grade Champion – Aden Larance.

B-Grade Champion – Frank Nottle and Sandra McCaw.

C-Grade Champion – Stass Agalidis and Doreen Searle.

Mixed Foursomes – Lou Dowsett and Patty Cain.

Beazley Cup – Lou Dowsett and Aden Larance. Nurse Taylor Trophy – Kerrie Ward and Frank Nottle. Ladies’ Foursomes – Zoe Holcombe and Jane McWhirter.

Men’s Foursomes – Frank Nottle and David Stevenson.

Monthly Medal

This weekend the December Monthly Medal will be played, sponsored by Roach’s Hardware. Prizes for men and ladies are on offer, with NTPs and the Shoot Out. Tee off time will be 11am.

On 9 December the annual Doc Antaw Golf Day will be held. There will be some great prizes, so come and support the day.
